Dec. 8, 2015 --As Republican
presidential candidates focus on the threat posed by radical Islamic
terrorism, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) joined Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) to
discuss the State Refugee Security Act of 2015. Cruz's bill would
"permit the governor of a
state to reject the resettlement of a refugee in that state unless
there is adequate assurance that the refugee does not present a
security
risk." [press release] Cruz has
also introduced the Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act and
the Expatriot Terrorist Act.
