Rubio Campaign Announces Minnesota Leadership Team

Campaign adds key activists from every Minnesota congressional district

Today, the Marco Rubio for President Campaign announced it has secured support from Republican activists from across the state, including a core team of leaders and activists representing each of Minnesota’s eight congressional districts. Led by 2014 Republican-endorsed gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson, the team is ready to mobilize grassroots Marco supporters for Minnesota’s precinct caucuses on March 1.

“The reason so many conservatives in Minnesota are talking about Marco Rubio is that he is the most exciting presidential candidate we have seen in many years,” said Jen Niska, Rubio Grassroots Coordinator.  “His ideas for the future of conservatism are truly visionary, and he is uniquely talented at winning voters over to the cause of limited government and strong values. He is a family man, an idea man, and also a man of God. He knows what it will take to restore American greatness, and I am excited to join his campaign."

State Chairman Jeff Johnson added, “We have key leaders and activists from each congressional district on our campaign team.  They have deep roots in their communities, they care about the future of our nation, and they possess a wide breadth of experience energizing voters for Republican candidates at the state and federal level. We couldn’t ask for a more talented group of folks to support Marco Rubio here in Minnesota.”
