Rubio Campaign Announces Texas Leadership Team

This morning, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is excited to announce Marco's Texas Leadership Team. Marco's optimistic message and strong organization has prepared him to compete in all 50 states, and today's announcement adds to the growing momentum seen across the country.

"As a former state legislator, Marco Rubio knows firsthand the impact of intrusive federal government regulations, and he has fought hard during his time in the Senate to limit government growth," said State Representative Jason Isaac, one of Marco's Texas co-chairs. "He has the vision, leadership and strong conservative record needed to unite our party, and I truly believe he is the best candidate to limit government, preserve our liberty and unleash America's greatness. I am excited and honored to endorse Marco Rubio for President of the United States."

"Marco Rubio is a next-generation conservative leader who can unite the Republican party, grow the conservative movement, and win in November," said Harris County Treasurer Orlando Sanchez, a member of Marco's Texas Leadership Team. "His personal story is not unlike so many people across Texas, and because of that, he uniquely understands the challenges facing us today, and I believe he has the vision and leadership skills necessary to lead our nation into a New American Century."

"I am proud to join this outstanding team of Texas leaders and look forward to working with them to energize supporters across our state for the March 1 primary," said Carrollton Mayor Matthew Marchant, a member of Marco's Texas Leadership Team. "Marco Rubio understands how to keep our families safe and grow the economy, and I am confident he will ensure we leave behind a better nation than the one we inherited."

"Marco is competing to win in all 50 states, and we are encouraged by the growing support he is receiving across Texas as we approach the March 1 primary," said Micah Johnson, Regional Spokeswoman for Marco Rubio for President. "Marco's optimistic vision for our country resonates with Texans, and the growing momentum behind our campaign is a testament to his strong conservative record and unique ability to unite Republicans and win in November."
