Assemblyman David Gardner issued the following statement:
"I have decided to switch my support to Marco Rubio for President because of his hopeful vision for America. When Marco spoke in my district late last year, I quickly realized he is part of the next generation of conservatives -- we need that type of leadership in the White House.
"Marco's New American Century is a working class agenda that will provide strong wage and economic growth. In addition, he calls for an education system that supports both white and blue collar jobs along with better informed decisions and outcomes in higher education. Finally, Marco understands the struggles and burdens of student loans and is committed to finding a fair solution.
"When Nevadans caucus on Tuesday, February 23, I will be proudly supporting Marco Rubio and his agenda to better our country."
Former Jeb Backer, Nevada Assemblyman David Gardner Endorses Marco Rubio For President
Today, Nevada Assemblyman David Gardner endorsed Marco Rubio for President. Assemblyman Gardner had previously endorsed Jeb Bush, but today switched teams to support Marco and a new generation of conservative leadership.Assemblyman David Gardner issued the following statement:
