Rubio Campaign Announces Growing Support In Kentucky

Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign announced a growing group of conservative leaders in Kentucky supporting Marco.  Last week, the campaign released the names of 24 Kentucky state legislators. The Rubio campaign is built for the long haul, with organizations in all 50 states and conservatives across the country rallying behind Marco. Today's announcement is a part of a growing group of Kentucky leaders supporting Marco for the March 5 caucus in Kentucky, including former Congressman Geoff Davis.

"The most important job of the president is to keep our country safe, and I believe Marco Rubio is the only candidate who truly is ready to be commander-in-chief on day one," said Former Congressman Geoff Davis. "Marco understands the national security challenges facing our country and has shown the judgment and foresight necessary to protect our nation. I wholeheartedly trust him and am excited to endorse him for president."

"As I have watched this year's presidential race unfold, it has become clear to me that Marco Rubio is the candidate who best understands the unique challenges facing our country," said Jim Host, Founder of Host Communications. "Marco knows that while our economy and our lives are changing, our government is not. He is a breath of fresh air. I am proud to offer Marco my full support and will do everything I can to ensure he is our party's nominee."

"It is clear that Kentuckians are rallying behind Marco as we approach the March caucus, and we are excited to add these outstanding leaders to our team," said Micah Johnson, Regional Spokeswoman for Marco Rubio for President. "We are ready for the long haul, and our Kentucky team will play an important role in ensuring that Marco wins the nomination and defeats the Democrats this November."
