Rubio Campaign Announces Growing Texas Leadership Team

Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign announced additions to a growing Texas Leadership Team. This rollout comes on the heels of Marco's rally in Houston last night with almost 1,500 supporters. Heading into the Texas primary, Marco has the support and momentum to compete in the Lone Star State on March 1.

"After seven years of a president whose decision-making criteria are more weathervane than compass, our country has lost focus on what makes us the greatest nation in the world - our founding principles," said former Texas Comptroller, Agriculture Commissioner and State Representative Susan Combs. "Marco Rubio is the one candidate who will refocus our nation and lead us into a strong and prosperous 21st century, and I wholeheartedly endorse him for president.”

"There is only one candidate in this race who can unite the Republican party and defeat the Democrats in November," said State Representative Rick Galindo. "I am proud to offer my support to Marco Rubio and will work hard in the coming days to share his optimistic vision for a New American Century with voters across the Lone Star State."

"Marco Rubio's vision for America's future is inspiring people all across our country," said Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 3, Kevin Wolff. "When it comes down to it, Marco is the only candidate in this race with a true conservative reform agenda who can defeat Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders this fall. I am proud to endorse him for president and encourage my fellow Texans to join me in casting a vote for Marco on Tuesday."

"In deciding which candidate to support for president this year, I focused most closely on which true conservative would give our party the best opportunity to reverse the damage that seven years of the Obama administration have inflicted on our country," said State Representative Gilbert Pena. "In a head-to-head matchup with both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Marco Rubio is the clear winner. By nominating Marco, we can move beyond making a point and actually make a difference."
