VIRGINIANS FOR MARCO RUBIO

House Majority Caucus Chairman Tim Hugo, Chairman of Marco Rubio’s Virginia campaign, welcomes Senator Bryce Reeves, House Majority Leader Kirk Cox and Delegate Kathy Byron as Virginia Co-Chairs.

On Wednesday, Rubio State Chair Tim Hugo, along with Co-Chairs House Majority Leader Kirk Cox, Chris Nolen, and Jim Beamer, delivered over 9,300 petitions to the State Board of Elections to qualify Marco for the March 1 Virginia primary.

“Marco’s conservative message resonated with hundreds of grassroots supporters from across the Commonwealth, and because of their hard work Marco Rubio will be on the March 1 ballot.” said Tim Hugo.  “I’m proud to announce today that Sen. Reeves, House Majority Leader Kirk Cox, and Delegate Kathy Byron will join Jim Beamer and Chris Nolen as Co-Chairs of Marco’s campaign in the Commonwealth.”

“Marco Rubio is a generational leader with a conservative vision for a New American Century and I am proud to serve as his co-chair in the Commonwealth of Virginia,” said Senator Bryce Reeves.  “Marco understands that our economy is rapidly changing and his New American Economy will create good-paying jobs in the 21st Century. I look forward to helping Marco win Virginia in 2016.”

“Hundreds of volunteers enthusiastically responded to Marco’s positive message and his vision for America’s future,” said House Majority Leader Kirk Cox. “I agree with Marco that this election is a generational choice.  That Americans must choose to move boldly into a future that provides opportunity for anyone who wishes to work hard.  Additionally, Marco’s foreign policy knowledge is critical to stopping the threats our nation currently faces from abroad. I am proud to stand with Marco Rubio for President.”

Hugo concluded, “Marco Rubio is the candidate who will unite our party, and as we look forward to this weekend’s RPV Advance, Kirk, Bryce, Kathy, Chris, Jim and I are honored to stand with these outstanding Virginians to elect Marco Rubio as President.”
