The Campaigns in DC

from June 7, 2016 to November 8, 2016
.                   Rationale, Methodology and Limitations.

For the Democratic side, this listing shows campaign-related and other activity by the candidates in the Fall campaign that drew media attention.  The Clintons have a home in DC so there was much activity that went unreported, and the list is by no means definitive. Nonetheless it does give at least a sense of what happened in DC, including public addresses to national conventions and meetings, some fundraisers, and private activity such as VP search and debate prep.  On the Republican side, although he was running against the swamp, Donald Trump did make a few general election visits to DC.
