Donald J. Trump Expands Team in South Carolina

Jeff Taillon and Gerri McDaniel Join Trump’s Team of Grass Roots Activists 

(New York, NY) May 6th, 2015 – Donald J. Trump today announced two new hires in South Carolina to join Ed McMullen, state co-chairman and political adviser, Senator John Russel, also state co-chairman and Representative James H. Merrill. Jeff Taillon will serve as State Political Director and Gerri McDaniel will serve as Field Director for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Exploratory Committee.
 
Jeff Taillon previously served as Campaign Manager for Henry McMaster for Lt. Governor 2014, Director of Advance for Governor Nikki Haley in the South Carolina Office of the Governor, and on the Nikki Haley for Governor campaign in 2010. In addition to being active in the Horry County GOP, Gerri McDaniel has also had an active role in the campaigns of several successful city and county political candidates. Most recently she was an asset to Governor Nikki Haley's 2010 Victory Office as a grassroots activist.  Gerri also previously served as Newt Gingrich's 2012 Presidential campaign field director for the 7th Congressional district of South Carolina. Gerri is the co-founder of the Myrtle Beach Tea Party and is the organizer of the annual SC Tea Party Coalition Conventions.

Mr. Trump will be in Greenville, South Carolina on Saturday May 9th for an informational meeting with a large group of local supporters and activists immediately followed by his keynote speech at the South Carolina Freedom Summit at 1:05pm.
