Trump Announces Over 1,100 County Co-Chairs
Spanning all 99 Iowa Counties

DES MOINES, IA – The Trump-Pence presidential campaign today announced a robust grassroots team led by Governor Terry Branstad, Honorary Iowa Campaign Chair.  The group is comprised of over 1,100 elected officials and community leaders that will serve as Trump campaign co-chairs in each of Iowa’s 99 counties.

“I am proud to lead this strong team of local grassroots activists in support of Donald Trump for President,” said Governor Terry Branstad.  “We trust Donald Trump to keep us safe and to restore our national economy so that all Iowans, and all Americans, have the opportunity to succeed.”

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of a recent poll by the Emerson College Polling Society showing Mr. Trump leading Hillary Clinton in Iowa by five points, 44% to 39%.

“This extensive team of enthusiastic campaign county co-chairs shows the groundswell of support for the Trump-Pence ticket in Iowa as countless locals continue to coalesce around our campaign,” said Trump Senior Advisor Tana Goertz. “These county co-chairs will help our growing staff build on Mr. Trump’s strong momentum in the Hawkeye State and ensure victory for the Trump-Pence ticket in November.”
