Donald J. Trump Files to be on the Ballot in Alabama

Mr. Trump Becomes the First Republican Candidate to Fill a Full Slate of Delegates in Alabama

(New York, NY) November 5th, 2015 -- Donald J. Trump has become the first Republican candidate to fill out a full slate of 47 delegates in Alabama where today he officially filed to be on the ballot. The list of potential delegates represents Alabama Republican voters and includes legislators, judges, businesspeople, preachers, and veterans.

Furthermore, Mr. Trump announced that his Alabama campaign committee will be chaired by Jim Carns of Vestavia Hills, a leading member of the Alabama House of Representatives. Serving as Co-Chair is another member of the Alabama House, Hartselle native Ed Henry. Ed is an Air Force Veteran who works in the health care industry and represents Cullman, Morgan and Marshall counties.

The Trump campaign also announced the opening of its Alabama headquarters located in the Birmingham area. Donald Trump continues to be the definitive front runner for the Republican nomination for President as he tops almost every national and state poll including several Alabama surveys that show him leading by wide, double digit margins.

In August, Mr. Trump staged the largest campaign event of any candidate this cycle with over 30,000 supporters in attendance at his Mobile, Alabama rally where he was joined by U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions. Mr. Trump will return to Alabama soon as he maintains a robust national travel schedule while continuing to share his vision to Make America Great Again.
