>Former Sen. Jim Webb was a guest speaker at the Clinton County Democrats' Hall of Fame Dinner at Gil's Ballroom in Clinton, Iowa on the evening of June 26, 2015.  [According to Fox News there was talk that Webb might announce his candidacy at the event >].

>Former Sen. Jim Webb visited Iowa on June 14-16, 2015.
On June 14 he spoke at Senate 10 Progressives' Flag Day Celebration fundraiser at Lake Panorama National Resort & Conference Center in Panora; and spoke at a Flag Day Celebration at Lion's Park in Urbandale.
On June 15 he appeared in studio on Mickelson in the Morning at WHO Radio in Des Moines; toured the Rippey Wind Farm in Grand Junction (Greene County); visiited Rippey Public Library in Rippey; ???make a stop at Fireman's Ice Cream Diner in Perry; and made remarks and did Q&A at Blue Guard: Young Professionals in Des Moines at The Continental at Domestica in Des Moines.
On June 16 he spoke at a Century Club breakfast at Davis Brown Law Firm in Des Moines; spoke and did Q&A with the Des Moines Committee on Foreign Relations at the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel in Des Moines; and appeared before a Des Moines Register ed board meeting (>).

>Former Sen. Jim Webb visited Sioux City, Iowa on May 6, 2015.  (Webb started the trip in Omaha, NE with a lunch and discussion with student veterans in the Thompson Alumni Center at the University of Nebraska Omaha).  He toured the Sioux City Boys Club and talked on leadership with children and board members; and did a meet and greet with patrons followed by dinner and discussion with local Democratic leaders at Tacos el Guerro.

>Former Sen. Jim Webb visited Iowa on April 26-27, 2015.  On the evening of April 26 he met and did Q and A with veterans at the home of Dick Goodson in Des Moines.  On April 27 he stopped in at a women's roundtable discussion with Hong Le Webb at Baratta's Restaurant in Des Moines; and addressed the Senate Democratic Caucus and then the House Democratic Caucus at the Capitol, followed by a press conference.

Early afternoon on April 9 he did a meet and greet at Council Bluffs Library in Council Bluffs.  [gap]
On April 10 in Des Moines he appeared on Mickelson in the Morning at WHO studios; [big gap]; and addressed Polk County Democrats' fourth-annual Spring Awards Dinner at UAW Local 450. 
On April 11 he spoke at a meeting of the UAW Veterans Caucus and Cedar Valley Veterans at the Sullivan Brothers Veterans Museum in Waterloo; toured the Cedar Valley Tech Works factory (home of the largest 3D printer in North America); made an unannounced appearance at a meeting of the Iowa Democrats' First District Central Committee at Black Hawk County Democratic headquarters on E. 4th Street in Waterloo (>); and headlined a dinner meeting of the Iowa Vietnamese Alliance at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in Des Moines.
On April 12, he toured Golden Grain Energy in Mason City with state Reps. Todd Prichard and Sharon Steckman and State Sen. Amanda Ragan; and headlined a fundraiser for state Reps. Todd Prichard and Sharon Steckman at CHOP Restaurant in Mason City.

2014

>Former Sen. Jim Webb visited Iowa on August 20-22, 2014.  
On August 20 he joined veterans at an event with U.S. Rep. Dave Loebsack at Lindsay Park in Davenport; and spoke at a fundraiser for the Linn County Phoenix Club at RWDSU Local 110 union hall in Cedar Rapids.
On August 21 he spoke at the Iowa Federation of Labor's 58th Annual Convention  at Pririe Meadows in Altoona; campaigned for U.S. Senate nominee Bruce Braley at Council Bluffs Public Library; and made phone calls as part of a Braley campaign veterans-to-veterans phone bank in Des Moines.
On August 22 he appeared on KBUR-AM 1490 “Talking Politics” with Robin Johnson; and toured the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown with Democratic gubernatorial nominee state Sen. Jack Hatch.
Webb also appeared on IPTV's "Iowa Press," which aired August 22.


New Hampshire: 2 visits, 3 days

2015
>Former Sen. Jim Webb visited NH on May 15-16, 2015.  Early afternoon on May 15 he spoke at a Portsmouth Business Forum luncheon hosted by Renee Plummer at 1 New Hampshire Ave. in Portsmouth.  On May 16 he attended a Portsmouth Democratic Committee meet and greet house party; a meet and greet at the home of former Dover Mayor Wil Boc and his wife Carol, in Dover; and Veterans Count's "Salute to Our Soldiers" gala at Service Credit Union in Portsmouth.

2014

>Former Sen. Jim Webb discussed his book I Heard My Country Calling at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH on the evening of October 20, 2014.  The Washington Post's Robert Costa reported that Webb planned to campaign for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen but that did not happen.

>Former Sen. Jim Webb made a quiet visit to SC on March 18-19, 2015.  On March 18 in Columbia he headlined a fundraiser for House Minority Leader Todd Rutherford and Rep. Mia McLeod at Pearlz Oyster Bar in the Vista; he had "private meetings with South Carolina party leaders;" he met with reporters; and he also stopped at the Vietnam Memorial.  He was also to meet with the House and Senate Democratic Caucuses. The State reported, "On Thursday he is expected to visit a friend in Greenville."   *seeking clarification...counting as 1 visit, 1 day
