New Spanish Language Ads
Highlight How Latinos Will Use the Power of
Their Vote to Stand-up to Trump
On National Voter Registration Day, Hillary for America
released two
new national Spanish language television
and digital
ads both titled "Primera Vez"
(First Time). The ads feature first-time voters, new citizens and
Republicans who are united by the fact that they will use their vote to
stand up against Trump's divisive agenda and to support Clinton this
November.
The television ad, "Primera
Vez,"
highlights how Trump's promise to deport millions of families is
leading Latinos from all walks of life to stand together with Clinton.
The ad features Maria Lacayo from Nicaragua who, after living in the
United States for 15 years as a legal permanent resident, made the
decision to become a U.S. citizen so she could vote in this election.
It also features Anayarit Ortiz, a new Presidential voter from Puerto
Rico who left the island in search of greater economic opportunities in
Florida, as well as 19 -year old Tony Rodriguez who is the son of Cuban
immigrants and will cast his vote for the first time.
The digital
ad,
an extended version of “Primera Vez,” features Ariana Delgado, an 18
year old Mexican-American new voter who has responded to Trump's threat
by registering hundreds of voters in Nevada. The ad also includes Cindy
Guerra, a lifelong Republican Cuban American and former Broward County
Republican Party Chair who is choosing country over party by standing
with Clinton this election.
Whether voting Democratic for the
first time or casting a ballot for the first time, these ads underscore
how countless of Latinos will be using their right to vote to make
their voices heard and stand up to Trump's hateful rhetoric. Clinton is
the only candidate in this election with the record, plans and vision
to build a better future for Latinos." Visit IWillVote.com
