Sanders Forms New Hampshire Steering Committee

MANCHESTER, N.H. -- U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders today announced the formation of a steering committee to lead his New Hampshire campaign. Comprised of 53 state legislators, labor leaders and progressive activists, the steering committee will lead efforts to mobilize grassroots support for the Democratic Party presidential candidate across the Granite State.

“I am proud to serve with so many other community leaders, elected officials and activists who share Bernie’s vision for a country that works for all of us, and not just the wealthy elite,” said fomer Executive Councilor Dudley Dudley. “Bernie is the candidate who is most committed to taking on big money in politics, tackling income inequality and stopping climate change.”

“This committee has helped kick our campaign into another gear,” said state director Julia Barnes. “With the help of New Hampshire’s most committed activists and community leaders, we will reach even more voters, pick up even more steam and continue spreading the word about Bernie’s vision for an America that works for all Americans.”
