Sanders: Today is a very exciting day because in a few hours I'm going to be announcing, officially, my candidacy for president of the United States.  That's a pretty big deal.

And I'm running because I think we need some fundamental economic and political change in this country.  We need a movement of ordinary Americans that says to the billionaire class: you can't have it all.  This country, our government, belong to all of us and not just to a handful of very, very wealthy people.  That's essentially what this campaign is about, and what I will be talking about today, and what I will be talking about throughout this campaign is a series of proposals that address this obscene level of income and wealth inequality, that creates the millions of jobs we desperately need, that make college affordable, that it deals with Citizens United and stops this ability of billionaires to buy elections, that deals with climate change.  These are the issues that the American people are concerned about, these are the issues that we're going to deal with, and I think we have some pretty good ideas as to how to address them.

We're going to win this election if in fact we can mobilize large numbers of people in 50 states who simply say, we've had it--you know--enough is enough.  This country has got to belong to all of us, and that's the theme, and I'll be around the country espousing those ideas.
