TEXT: The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force

Col. Jay Vargas:  We were completely surrounded, 116 Marines locking heads with 15,000 North Vietnamese.  Forty hours with no sleep, fighting hand to hand.

MSG Leroy Petry:  I turned around to check on my guys and there was a pineapple grenade right behind them.  I reached over to grab the grenade and as I threw it I opened my hand to release it and it exploded.

Col. Leo Thorsness:  When we joined the military you fill out a check where you say pay to the order of up to and including my life.

Maj. Gen. James Livingston:  This is no reality show.  This is serious business.  This is about the livelihood of our kids and grandkids.  This commander in chief [Obama] requires training wheels

Col. Jay Vargas:  This nation hungers for leadership.  We need Jeb Bush.

Col. Leo Thorsness:  Jeb Bush will rebuild our military and make us proud to be Americans.

MSG Leroy Petry:  Jeb Bush is ready to take the role of commander in chief.

Maj. Gen. James Livingston:  Jeb Bush has the experience and those leadership skills.  He represents the beliefs of this country.  He'll have the American people's confidence and he will be respected on the world stage.

Bush (voiceover): I’m Jeb Bush and I approve this message.
