2016 Committee Launches TV, Digital Ad Buy For Dr. Ben Carson
Key States Include Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina

MERRIFIELD, Va., Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 2016 Committee, a political action committee raising awareness and support for Dr. Ben Carson's Republican presidential campaign, unveiled a new television ad campaign in Iowa, as well as a digital campaign in the key primary states of New Hampshire and South Carolina.

"The people of Iowa have a sacred responsibility as 'first-in-the-nation' in selecting each party's nominee for president, a responsibility we at The 2016 Committee take as seriously as they do," said John Philip Sousa IV, national chairman of The 2016 Committee. "Dr. Carson's vision for a healthy, unified nation is compelling to voters of all stripes, and these ads are a key step in sharing that vision with voters in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Combined with our extensive grass-roots efforts in early caucus and primary states, this ad campaign is another exciting step towards establishing Dr. Carson as the Republican nominee."

The ad campaign consists of four ads for television and digital advertising. The first ad, titled "Defeat ISIS," began airing on Fox News in Iowa on Nov. 19, and on digital platforms in New Hampshire and South Carolina. The campaign will continue through the end of the month.

"Defeat ISIS" reinforces Dr. Carson's argument that President Obama's failure to fight ISIS has made America and our allies weaker. Dr. Carson articulates an "all-in" approach that will destroy ISIS where they stand and restore American strength — the only way we'll really bring peace in this dangerous world.

Three more ads, to be unveiled later, include:

"Courage," which reinforces Dr. Carson's status as the only candidate with the courage to rein in executive and judicial overreach, including President Obama's dangerous initiative to bring tens of thousands of Syrian refugees to the United States.

"Debate," which draws on Dr. Carson's closing statement from the Nov. 10 GOP debate, and focuses on his qualifications as the one candidate capable of uniting a fractured nation and fixing the logjam in Washington.

"Kids," which highlights the frivolous spending habits of the Washington elite, the moral implications of those habits and Dr. Carson's ability to take responsibility toward securing a safer, more prosperous future for our children.
