"Rubio or Cruz, which one do you trust" +
0:60 ad run starting Nov. 6, 2015 in IA.
Radio |
[Droning Sound]
Female Announcer: We
all loved how Marco Rubio took apart Jeb Bush in the debate.
Wasn't it great?
But what's Rubio ever done?
Anything? Other than his Gang of Eight amnesty bill can anyone
think of anything Marco Rubio has ever done? Anything at all
besides amnesty?
Marco Rubio looks good on TV but that's
about it.
[Music]
Ted Cruz for
President. Ted Cruz walks tall for what we believe.
Standing up, often standing alone.
Ted Cruz makes things
happen. After Sandy Hook, Ted Cruz stopped Obama's push for new
gun control laws.
And Obama's plan to stop
Israel flights amounted to an economic boycott. Ted Cruz stopped
it.
And when Chuck Schumer and
Marco Rubio tried to push amnesty, it was Ted Cruz who stopped them.
Rubio
or
Cruz. Which one do you trust?

Conservative SuperPAC Radio Ads Asks: "Rubio or Cruz,
Which One Do YOu Trust
DES
MOINES,
IA: A conservative SuperPAC supporting Ted Cruz for President
is up with its second radio ad in Iowa starting today.
Opening
by
praising Senator Marco Rubio for how he “took apart” Jeb Bush in the
debate, the sixty-second ad questions Rubio’s accomplishments in the
Senate other than his “Gang of Eight” amnesty legislation, and whether
he is the right choice for President.”
“Senator
Marco
Rubio is a great patriot who a lot of potential,” PAC spokesman
Rick Shaftan said in a press statement. “But he just hasn’t yet
built the record needed to convince conservatives that he is the man to
undo the damage to our country from eight years of Obama and decades of
liberal policies from previous administrations.”
“Right
now,
one candidate has a record of actual accomplishment for
conservatives and that’s Ted Cruz,” Shaftan said. “Ted Cruz
stands up and often stands alone. He knows that this election is
America’s last chance. And we know it too and that’s why
Courageous Conservatives PAC is ready to make the hard-hitting ads Mitt
Romney and the DC consultant class were afraid to air four years ago.”
Although
the
ad focuses on Rubio, Shaftan explained that they are targeting
voters backing businessman Donald Trump and surgeon Ben Carson.
“Conservatives like Donald Trump’s bluntness and strong stands on the
illegal alien invasion of our country. And we also like Dr.
Carson’s honesty and fresh approach. But we also know no one is
going to be elected president who has not won a statewide election or a
World War and that over the next few weeks, many Trump and Carson
supporters will begin to look at other candidates,” Shaftan said.
“We want them looking at Ted Cruz and not Marco Rubio.”
“None
of
the other candidates are a factor nor do we expect them to be with
limited cash and having failed to already connect to the public.
We expect Mike Huckabee, Rand Paul, Rick Santorum and Bobby Jindal to
be out soon and their votes are up for grabs,” Shaftan noted.
“Ted Cruz has the record that has earned their support. Marco
doesn’t.”
“Courageous
Conservatives
PAC isn’t affiliated with the Cruz campaign in any way
and we can do our own messaging outside of the wimpy stuff the DC
consultant class gave us in 2008 and 2012 which delivered eight long
years of Barack Obama,” Shaftan said. “That includes contrasts
between Senator Cruz and his opponents that clearly define why Ted Cruz
is the best candidate in the race on the issues.”
“We
don’t
really care what Marco Rubio’s FICO score is, and we wouldn’t
talk about it under any circumstances,” Shaftan said. “Our focus
is issues, not personality. And that’s why Republicans need to
nominate someone with real substance, not someone who, as the ad says,
“looks good on TV.”
One
of
the things that motivated forming this SuperPAC was the weak
material being turned out by a SuperPAC linked to the campaign whose
ads Shaftan described as “weak and incredibly boring.”
“Ted
Cruz
isn’t boring. He’s the most dynamic candidate for president
any of us have ever seen since Reagan, and our ads will capture that
whether the folks in DC like it or not,” Shaftan added. “They’re
not going allow Ted Cruz to be marginalized as has happened to other
conservatives, because Cruz is the one who’s going to marginalize
them. And we’re here to help.”
