Hillary for America

"The Same" +

0:30 ad run in PA, announced April 16, 2016.

[Music]

Girl at town hall:  Do you think when you're president you'll be paid as much if it were a man, male?

Clinton: This is one of the jobs where they have to pay you the same.

But there are so many examples where that doesn't happen.

I'm going to do everything I can to make sure every woman in every job gets paid the same as the men who are doing that job.

Clinton (voiceover):  I’m Hillary Clinton and I approve this message.

NotesThis ad is a slightly revised version of "The Same" which the campaign ran in IA and NH starting in late Oct. 2015.  The footage is from an Aug. 18, 2015 town hall in Las Vegas.

The audio appears the same, but there are several small differences on the screen:  a) The CG in the newer ad reads "Public town hall" rather than "Public town hall, 8/18/15."  b) The text screen toward the close ("Your fights are her fights") is gone in the newer ad, replaced by another clip from the town hall.  c) Instead of the campaign logo and "HillaryClinton.com" over the closing frame, the newer ad moves the logo up and has a large "Vote for Hillary - Tuesday, April 26)."

According to the April 16 press release, "The 30 second ad, part of a seven figure buy, will begin running today in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg-Lancaster-York, Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Johnstown-Altoona, and Erie media markets along with previously announced ads."
