Congressman Elijah Cummings: My nephew Christopher was
twenty years old when his life was tragically cut short.
He didn't do anything wrong, but like so many of
our young people here, his life was
taken by a bullet.
I'm Congressman Elijah Cummings, and stopping the
madness of gun violence is a big reason I am working so hard to elect
Hillary Clinton.
I've
known Hillary for two decades. Unlike some, she's always fought
for
background checks, to close the loopholes that let the wrong people buy
guns, and--just like President Obama--she won't be intimidated by
anybody, that includes the gunmakers and their lobbyists.
Hillary Clinton: I will keep fighting on behalf of all who have been lost because of this senseless gun violence in our country.
Congressman Elijah Cummings: Maryland, stand with Hillary! Vote early or vote on Election Day, Tuesday, April 26th. But vote. Because we need Hillary to continue President Obama's fight to end gun violence.
Hillary Clinton: I'm Hillary Clinton, candidate for president, and I approve this message.

Notes: The April 20 press
release...
Today, Hillary for Maryland began airing a new radio ad featuring
Congressman Elijah Cummings ahead of the April
26 primary. "Twenty
Years Old" highlights Hillary Clinton's commitment to
commonsense approaches to reduce gun violence,
including strengthening
background
checks, closing loopholes that let the wrong people buy
guns, and standing up to gunmakers and the gun lobby.
In
the ad, Cummings tells the story of his nephew Christopher, who
fell
victim to gun violence at only twenty years old. The spot, which will
air in Baltimore, concludes with Cummings telling Maryland voters, "We
need Hillary to continue President Obama's fight to end gun violence."
