Cruz: You
know everyone here talks about the need to take on Washington.
The natural next question is who actually has done so.
Woman 1: He
actually went to Washington, DC and did what he told the voters he was
going to do.
Cruz: Who
actually has stood up not just to Democrats, but to leaders in our own
party?
Woman 2:
Sticks to his guns, doesn't apologize for what he has to say...
Woman (audio):
Why
do
I
support
Ted
Cruz?
It's
because I trust Ted Cruz.
Cruz: When I
tell you I'm going to do something, I'm going to do exactly what I said
I would do. [cheers]

WHERE:
The 30-second ad features a mix of Ted Cruz in his own words and
the words of his supporters relating how Cruz has earned their trust --
and their votes. The ad is the initial spot in the $2.5M buy from Keep
the Promise I and will run on television in Iowa (1/19-2/1) and South
Carolina (1/25-2/20). This ad buy builds upon the infrastructure and
voter outreach that the Keep the Promise super PACs have been engaged
in for months.
QUOTE:
“Ted
Cruz is a top-tier contender facing vicious attacks designed to
frighten voters rather than inform them. Voters have a reasonable
expectation that leaders will have thought deeply and fought heartily
long before campaign season. 'Who can you trust?' and 'Who has been
there?' are the same question. There are no grey areas when it comes to
keeping our nation safe and prosperous, and protecting religious
liberty and the sanctity of life. A record - not rhetoric - shows who
likes to fight for us, and who just likes to fight," said Kellyanne
Conway, president of Keep the Promise I.
