Terence J Hey what's up guys, I'm Terence J.  And before the movies and TV shows it all started an a HBCU.

And aside from my family going to an HBCU had the biggest influence on shaping who I am.  Our HBCUs have to be preserved and accessible to those coming up behind us.

As HBCU students and alums, our families, our friends have to get registered to vote, and the only candidate running for president who has our back is Hillary Clinton.

She’ll invest $25 billion in HBCUs and Minority-Serving Institutions to reduce costs and improve support for students.

And Hillary will also make sure that HBCU grads don’t enter the workforce with ridiculous amounts of debt. Her plan will dramatically reduce debt for both public and private HBCU students.

But we have to do our part.  It’s on us to get everybody registered in North Carolina by the October 14th deadline and get everybody voting for Hillary.

Hillary Clinton:  I'm Hillary Clinton and I approve this message.

Male Announcer:  Paid for by Hillary for America.

New Radio Ad Highlights What’s at Stake for African American Millennials in this Year’s Election

As part of a push to engage and mobilize millennial voters, Hillary for America is releasing a new ad, "Relief", that discusses the importance of voting in the upcoming election and what is at stake for African American millennial voters.

In the new ad, TV personality and actor Terrence J, who is a North Carolina native and North Carolina A&T alumnus, narrates an ad discussing the importance of the millennial vote and Hillary Clinton's plan to invest in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Throughout this campaign season, Clinton has visited nearly a dozen HBCUs around the country.

This week, the campaign is leading a push to register, re-register and engage millennial voters through events across the country.  The campaign will also continue to lift up the issues facing millennials leading up to election day.

The ad will air in North Carolina and Florida.

Transcript of "Relief":

“I remember my college days at an HBCU. They were the best! And I think that — aside from my family — going to an HBCU — had the biggest influence on shaping who I am.  Our HBCUs have to be preserved and accessible to those coming up behind us.  Us HBCU students and alums, our families, our friends — have to get registered and vote for the only candidate running for president who has our back - Hillary Clinton.  Hillary has a plan to make it easier for HBCUs to continue thriving. She’ll invest $25 billion in HBCUs and Minority-Serving Institutions to reduce costs and improve support for students. And Hillary will make sure that HBCU grads don’t enter the workforce with ridiculous amounts of debt. Her plan will dramatically reduce debt for both public and private HBCU students. Now that’s what I’m talking about. But we have to do our part.  It’s on us to get everybody registered and get everybody voting — for our girl Hillary.
