Sara Armstrong Named Inaugural Committee CEO

(New York, NY) Today, Thomas J. Barrack Jr, Chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Sara Armstrong will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the committee.
 
"We are thrilled to have Sara serve as the CEO of the Presidential Inaugural Committee following a successful convention in Cleveland that received resounding praise from both President-Elect Trump and all those who attended for how well it was run,” said Barrack.  “She is enormously prepared to oversee one of the most cherished peaceful transitions of power in the world as we rebuild America together."
 
Sara Armstrong most recently served as the Vice President of the 2016 Republican National Convention.  Previously she was the RNC Chief Operating Officer for the 2014 election cycle after serving as Deputy Chief of Staff during the 2012 presidential election cycle. Armstrong was a Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush. She also served in the Bush Administration as the Director of the White House Visitors Office.
