JEB BUSH WON TONIGHT'S DEBATE

Miami, FL –  Jeb won tonight’s debate. Not only was he the only candidate (yet again) to stand up to Donald Trump, he also clearly articulated his accomplishments as governor of Florida, the detailed policies he has put forward and his conservative record that make him the best candidate to defeat Hillary Clinton. Ahead of the primary on Tuesday, Jeb is the clear winner and momentum is on his side.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dr. Ben Carson Delivers Commanding Performance at GOP Debate

Manchester, New Hampshire — February 6, 2016 – At tonight’s ABC GOP Presidential Debate in Manchester, New Hampshire, Dr. Ben Carson delivered a commanding performance characterized by quiet strength and strong moral convictions.
He appealed to the best qualities of the American people and acknowledged that “America would not be free without our veterans.” Dr. Carson also emphasized that the prevailing ethics of Washington are not his ethics. While career politicians are happy to do whatever is necessary to win, Dr. Carson stressed that he will do what is right. He is confident that he will beat Secretary Hillary Clinton in the general election because the American people will choose honesty and integrity instead of deceit and the Washington way.

On a stage, where other candidates chose self-promotion and bickering, Dr. Carson opted for civility and respect, breaking through the name-calling and personal attacks to address the serious issues facing the American people. Last week in Iowa, when Washington insiders stooped to efforts to unfairly manipulate voters, Dr. Carson stood strong for integrity and accountability. Throughout this race, while politicians have engaged in empty rhetoric, Dr. Carson has offered real common sense solutions backed by a lifetime of accomplishment.

Tonight, voters in New Hampshire and across the country are the real winners, as they saw for themselves a leader who will make tough decisions based on his moral compass, not according to political correctness or expediency.

Gov. Kasich is running for President to help Americans restore our nation, live in safety and pass on prosperity to those who come after us—and he’s got the experience to help us do it. He was reelected last year by a 30-point margin after working with his fellow Ohioans to turn an $8 billion shortfall into a $2 billion surplus, cut taxes $5 billion and create more than 300,000 new private sector jobs.  As chair of the Budget Committee in Congress he led the effort to balance the federal budget for the first time in a generation and served 18 years on the House Armed Services Committee where he helped enact President Reagan's national security agenda.  He has also had a successful career as an investment banker, New York Times best-selling author and at FOX News.  He and his wife Karen have twin teenage daughters and live in their home outside Columbus. You can learn more about him at www.JohnKasich.com

RNC Statement On The ABC Debate in Manchester

WASHINGTON  – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement at the conclusion of the Republican debate in Manchester, New Hampshire:

“Our Party has the most well-qualified and experienced field of candidates in history. The record levels of interest and viewership reflect an enthusiasm across the country for Republican leadership after seven years of a disastrous Democrat agenda. While our field is holding a substantial discussion on the best ideas for recovering American prosperity and confidence, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are promising to expand the extreme policies of Barack Obama. It is time to chart a new course for America and return a Republican president to the White House.”

DNC Chair Statement on Tonight’s GOP Debate

MANCHESTER – DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz released the following statement on tonight’s GOP debate:

“Tonight’s debate turned into a total train-wreck for the Republican Party, right from the awkward introductions at the start to the shushing, finger-pointing, and the pivots back to the same tired talking points. Tonight the American people saw that the Republican candidates left in this race have one thing in common, an ideological extremism that's out of touch with New Hampshire's independent-minded voters and the vast majority of the American people. What's become crystal clear after watching Republicans debate tonight, and the substantive and thoughtful debate Democrats had two nights ago, is that we must elect a Democrat as the 45th President of the United States.”

Carly for President
fundraising email

Last night's debate was an utter disgrace for our party and for our democracy—and it had nothing to do with anything that happened on stage.

From the very beginning, the RNC and the mainstream media did all they could to keep us—and only us—off the debate stage in order to protect their failing establishment picks.

But the establishment's despicable actions ramped up significantly more over the past few days: when they started intentionally doing everything they could to cripple this campaign.

Yesterday, one of the most powerful party bosses at the RNC came after me and this campaign with a below-the-belt hit on social media—simply because we dared to question the GOP's attempts to rig the game.

And on Friday, when my campaign tried to buy ad time during the debate, we were rejected. ABC so badly wanted to ban us from this debate altogether that they wouldn't even let this campaign pay for a TV commercial.

Luckily, the political class can only do so much. Voters like you still have the final say.

And believe me, voters are just as disgusted as we are: the harder the political class tried to shut us down over the last few days, the faster our momentum has grown. A new poll shows our support more than doubling in New Hampshire—now putting us within striking distance of frontrunners Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

We can continue to grow our momentum and get our message out over the next few days—but getting our message out when we're the media and the GOP's Public Enemy #1 means we're in for our toughest fight yet.

It's going to take an all-hands-on-deck effort—and it's going to take every ounce of fight we've got. I'm going to need your support now, more than ever before.

Can I count you in? Please pitch in $13 so this campaign can beat the political class at their own game—and make sure voters, not elites, get to pick our nominee this spring.

I can't do this without you!

Carly
