Ted Cruz visited Des Moines, Iowa on March 7-9, 2015.  On March 7 he spoke at and did a media avail. at the Iowa Agriculture Summit; and toured the Iowa Deer Classic trade show at HyVee Hall.  On March 8 he attended services at Grace Church; and hosted a lunch with grassroots activists.  On March 9 he did an in-studio interview on WHO's "Mickelson in the Morning;" and appeared at an American Renewal Project's Pastors and Pews event at the Airport Holiday Inn

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Des Moines, Iowa on January 24, 2015.  The Des Moines Register reported he planned a private grassroots roundtable; and he spoke at the Iowa Freedom Summit [transcript].

Ted Cruz visited Iowa on August 9, 2014.  He attended the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, including having a pork chop on a stick, casting his kernal for Joni Ernst, viewing the butter cow, stopping by the Iowa GOP booth, speaking from the DMR Soapbox at 1 p.m., and leaving with a turkey leg; and he spoke at the FAMiLY Leadership Summit at Stephens Auditorium in Ames [transcript].

>Sen Ted Cruz visited Iowa on October 25-26, 2013.  On the evening of October 25 he headlined the Republican Party of Iowa's annual Ronald Reagan Commemorative Dinner at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines (-).  On October 26 he joined U.S. Rep. Steve King for his annual Col. Bud Day Pheasant Hunt at the Hole N' the Wall Lodge north of Akron and the subsequent Defenders of Freedom event at the Le Mars Convention Center in Le Mars.

>Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at The FAMiLY Leadership Summit at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa on August 10, 2013 (former Sen. Rick Santorum and businessman Donald Trump also spoke).  As reported by Jason Noble at Iowa Politics, Cruz had been "scheduled to meet top Republican donors and activists" at the Iowa State Fair before his appearance but that did not happen as his flight was delayed.

>Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at the Republican Party of Iowa's Summer Picnic and Luncheon fundraiser at GOP headquarters and at the American Renewal Project's "Pastors and Pews" (closed event) in Des Moines, Iowa on July 19 2013.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited NH on March 27-28, 2015.  On March 27 he spoke at a rally organized by Conservative Business League of NH at VFW Post 8641 in Merrimack; and spoke at Young America's Foundation "New England Freedom Conference" dinner at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua.  On the morning of March 28 he attended a brunch hosted by the Rockingham County Republican Committee and Seacoast Republican Women at the Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited NH on March 15-16, 2015.  On March 15 he appeared at a "Chili and Chat" lunch hosted by the Strafford County Republican Committee at Turbocam in Barrington; and was the special guest at Grafton County Republicans' Lincoln-Reagan Dinner at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln.  On March 16 he spoke at a "Politics and Eggs" breakfast at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics in Manchester.

2014: 3 visits, 5 days
>Sen. Ted Cruz visited NH on September 6-7, 2014.  He spoke at the Hillsborough County Republican Committee primary gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua on the evening of September 6.  On September 7 he did a meet and greet for the NHGOP at 60 Rogers St, in Manchester; made an unannounced stop at the Dunkin' Donuts in Manchester; did a meet and greet for the NHGOP at 10 Water St. in Concord; and in the early afternoon was the special guest at a pre-primary victory rally in support of 2nd CD congressional candidate Marilinda Garcia at Nashua City Hall in Nashua.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited NH on April 26-27, 2014.  On April 26 he was the keynote speaker at the Carroll County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner at the Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash Mountain Resort in Bartlett.  On April 27, as reported by NHJournal.com's John DiStaso, he met with former Gov. John Sununu at his home for a "friendly talk," and he spoke at a fundraising reception for Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire in Rye.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited NH on April 12, 2014.  He appeared at a NHGOP Day of Action rally in the Nashua City Hall back parking lot in Nashua; at a NHGOP Day of Action rally in the Livingston Park pool parking lot in Manchester; and addressed the "Freedom Summit" at The Executive Court Banquet Facility in Manchester.

>The 2015 South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention was held at the Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 17-19, 2015.  Dr. Ben Carson and Sen. Ted Cruz spoke on the afternoon of January 18.  Former Sen. Rick Santorum and Donald Trump spoke on January 19.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited SC on October  11-12, 2014.  On October 11 he did a roundtable at a "Bridging the Gap" forum organized by The Palladium Group (a Spartanburg consulting firm founded by Karen Floyd) at the Spartanburg Community College Downtown Campus in Spartanburg; and attended an Alan Wilson for Attorney General tailgate meet and greet next to Memorial Stadium at Clemson University in Clemson.  Mid-afternoon on October 12 he attended an ice cream social hosted by the Spartanburg and Greenville Republican parties at the River Falls Plantation Golf Clubhouse in Duncan

>Sen. Ted Cruz made a retail stop at The Beacon Restaurant in Spartanburg; and he headlined a Victory lunch for the South Carolina Republican Party at Seawell's in Columbia, SC on September 15, 2014.

>Sen. Ted Cruz keynoted the Free Enterprise Foundation's 8th annual awards banquet in at the Holliday Alumni Center at The Citadel in Charleston, SC on April 15, 2014Politico's Manu Raju reported that afterwards Cruz "met with a group of event organizers and area Republicans at a Marriott Hotel bar booth."  (The Free Enterprise Foundation is "a non-profit, independent research institution headquartered at The Citadel").
