Female Announcer:  Barack Obama.

President Obama:  We've achieved so much together these past eight years.  Fifteen million new jobs created.  Health care for another 20 million Americans.  And we've cut African-American unemployment in half.

Female Announcer:  That's a legacy we can all be proud of.

President Obama:  But it all gets rolled back if we don't stand with Democrats this election.

Female Announcer:  Right now, there's much at stake this November 8th.  Republicans have fought President Obama at every turn, and given the chance will undo all the progress we've made.

Persident Obama:  We know the strength of America comes from folks of every background, working together to make our union just a little more perfect.

So get fired up one more time and stand with Democrats up and down the ballot.

Female Announcer:  We've fought too hard to go back.  Register to vote online at iwllvote.com, and let's continue to build on the progress we've made by voting November 8th.

DNC Launches New Radio Ad Featuring President Barack Obama

WASHINGTON -- Today the Democratic National Committee launched a new radio ad featuring President Barack Obama as part of its seven-figure advertising blitz targeting communities of color across the nation.

In the ad titled “Legacy,” President Obama reminds voters that the gains we’ve achieved during his administration – including cutting the unemployment and uninsured rate within the Black community in half – will be erased if voters don’t stand with Democrats this election.

“President Obama is asking Black voters to stand with Democrats, because the Democratic Party is fighting with them to level the playing field and give every American a fair shot, regardless of their zip code at birth. Hillary Clinton has been a lifelong champion for equality, and understands what’s at stake for our communities. Every vote has value, and we cannot take for granted the power that each and every one of us holds in this election. We must get out the vote, and we must elect Democrats up and down the ticket,” said Donna Brazile, Interim DNC Chair.

The DNC contracted Burrell Communications Group, an African-American owned communications firm, to produce “Legacy” and purchase air time. “Legacy” will air on nationally syndicated urban radio programs, including The Steve Harvey Show, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Keep Hope Alive with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Keepin’ It Real with Rev. Al Sharpton, and The D.L. Hughley Show.
