Major Gen. Paul Eaton, U.S. Army (ret.):  I know the sacrifice that our military makes.

My father was a fighter pilot who went missing over Laos during the Vietnam War.

For 30 years I served everywhere from Iraq to Somalia where I've been responsible for the lives of our sons and daughters.

For all of them and for our country I cannot support Donald Trump.

Donald Trump doesn't have the temperament or judgment to be our Commander in Chief.  That's why I'm speaking out--for America.

Priorities USA & VoteVets PAC are releasing a new television ad today titled “For America” featuring Major General Paul Eaton (Ret.) who served thirty years in the military and understands firsthand the sacrifices our military makes and just how serious the stakes are for our country. Major General Eaton served more than 30 years in the United States Army, including combat and post-combat assignments in Iraq, Bosnia and Somalia. As a major general he was assigned to Iraq from 2003 to 2004 as Commanding General of the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team (CMATT), where he designed, manned, trained, and equipped the Iraqi armed forces for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the security forces for the Interior Ministry. Prior to that assignment, he commanded the Army’s Infantry Center and was Chief of Infantry for the Army.

In the ad, Major General Eaton underscores how important it is to our country not to elect Donald Trump, because Trump “doesn’t have the temperament or judgment to be our commander in chief.”

“Our servicemen and women like Major General Eaton understand the sacrifice our military makes and know how serious the stakes are for our country. That’s why Major General Eaton will never support someone like Donald Trump who lacks the temperament and judgment to be our commander in chief,” said Justin Barasky, Communications Director at Priorities USA. “To keep our country safe, and to respect the sacrifice our military service members make every day, we can never allow someone like Donald Trump to occupy the White House. Donald Trump is too dangerous for America.”

“For America” will run statewide everywhere Priorities is advertising.
