CONSISTENT PRINCIPLED EFFECTIVE LEADER

Bernie for PRESIDENT

an honest leader with the courage to take on powerful interests and fight for justice

Protecting Civil Rights

Bernie has fought for civil rights his whole life. He marched with Dr. King. He was arrested for protesting segregated schools as a young organizer. He has one of the strongest civil rights voting records in the Congress-–speakingout for voting rights, against the death penalty and uplifting struggling famiIies and communities.

Criminal Justice Reform

Bernie understands we need to fix a very broken criminal justice system. We need to end racial profiling, reform our police departments and end mass incarceration.

As our President

Bernie will put Americans back to work by creating millions of good paying jobs as we rebuild our crumbling roads and infrastructure. He will increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and will strengthen the middle class by making public colleges and universities tuition free. He will make the wealthy and big banks pay their fair share of taxes. He will ensure that all communities have access to quality schools and credit on fair terms.

Meet Bernie:

His extensive record as an advocate of civil rights goes back to the Civil Rights Movement where he marched with Dr. King and was arrested for protesting the segregation of schools in Chicago.

As mayor of Burlington, Vermont, he was named one of America's best mayors. In Congress he has fought for working families and stood on principle for expanding civil rights, opposing the Iraq war and fighting for veterans, to protect American jobs, and to make college more affordable.

He is running for President to make America a more fair and just place for his grandkids and all of our children.
