On August 17 he did a meet and greet at King's Pointe Resort-Awaysis Ballroom in Storm Lake; and spoke at the Boots and Barbeque Bash fundraiser for the GOP central committees of Audubon, Cass, Pottawattamie, Crawford, Shelby, and Carroll counties at the Cottonwood Barn in Kimballton.
On August 18 he did a coffee, rolls and conversation meet and greet at Barley's in Council Bluffs; a meet and greet at The Corner in Greenfield; and was celebrity griller at the Iowa Pork Producers Tent at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.

Rick Perry is scheduled to visit NH on October 6-7, 2014On October 6 he plans to appear at a "Politics and Eggs" breakfast at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics; NH Journal's John DiStaso reports that Perry will campaign with gubernatorial nominee Walt Havenstein; and in the late afternoon he is to speak at the Belknap County Republican Committee’s Belknap County/Lakes Region Harvest Festival at the home of Bill and Faith Tobin in Sanbornton; and he is to attend a Victory rally with state Senate candidate Kathy Rago at Pizza Chef in Franklin  On October 7, according to DiStaso, he will campaign with 2nd CD nominee Marilinda Garcia at a fundraiser at Nashua Country Club in Nashua.  trip postponed October 3 due to urgent state business.

On August 22 he started with an appearance on Jack Heath's "NH Today" radio show; spoke at a Portsmouth Business Leaders Luncheon hosted by Renee Plummer at Two International Group in Portsmouth; spoke at Americans for Prosperity Foundation NH's Business Tax Study dinner at The Yard Restaurant in Manchester; and spoke at a Nashua Area City Republican Committee reception at the home of Pete Silva in Nashua.

Rick Perry visited SC on July 1-2, 2014.  On July 1 he toured the Medal of Honor Museum on the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point; held a business roundtable at Water Missions International in North Charleston; and, introduced by Gov. Haley, spoke at the Dorchester County GOP Big Bang BBQ fundraiser at Miller Country Club in Summerville.  On the evening of July 2 he appeared at a hamburgers and hotdogs fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney at City of Light in Indian Land.

>Gov. Rick Perry visited SC on December 3-4, 2013.  On December 3 in Spartanburg he addressed the Rotary Club of Downtown Spartanburg at the Piedmont Club; toured the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center; toured the Smith Drug Company plant; and in the evening was the featured speaker at the South Carolina Republican Party/Spartanburg County Republican Party Winter Dinner and Conservative Banquet at the Spartanburg Expo Center.  On December 4 in Greenville he keynoted the annual meeting of the Electric Co-Ops of South Carolina at the Hyatt; toured the Next Innovation Center; and spoke at a salute to scouting fundraiser for the Blue Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America at the Poinsett Club.
