Feb. 19, 2015 - The Association of State Democratic Chairs met on the opening day of the DNC Winter Meeting.  Ray Buckley, who is chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, was re-elected ASDC chair.  In his speech Buckley said each state party should have a plan for electing Democrats over the next five years, he emphasized the importance of the next round of redistricitng, and he called for better and stronger relations between the state chairs and the other national party committees (DSCC, DCCC, DGA, DLCC).  He noted that Colorado state chair Rick Palacio is one of the members of the Democratic Victory Task Force and has been seeking input.  Buckley also talked about what happened in New Hampshire in 2014 where Democrats improved their statewide vote total, but, he emphasized, it was not a uniform increase across the state.  Rather, Buckley said, the increase occurred in specific towns and correlated to the amount of local volunteers.  People were exposed to the same ads and other influences, but one neighbor talking to another neighbor made the difference Buckley said.  (Below)  At the start of the meeting chairs also elected regional leaders.
