Feb. 19, 2015 - Addressing the state chairs, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Democrats need to do "a better job of developing a cohesive narrative." She said the party is transitioning to focus on 2016. Speaking of the likely GOP presidential candidates, Wasserman Schultz said she "can't wait to watch the debates." "I have already put the popcorn on," she said. Wasserman Schultz said the preliminary task force findings the DNC is releasing during the meeting will have "a very significant role for our state parties." |
Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy,
re-elected in 2014 in a closely fought contest, gave a well received
speech. "We're hard-wired to care about other people," Malloy
said. "When we run as Republican-lite, we lose," he said.
"When we tell the story properly, we win." "Let's embrace who we
are and what we are," Malloy said. |
