Governor Scott Walker Launches “Our American Revival”

Madison – Governor Scott Walker announced today the formation of Our American Revival. This 527 leadership organization will communicate a vision and work to enact policies that will lead to a more free and prosperous America by restoring power to the states and - more importantly - the people. Rick Wiley will serve as the executive director for Our American Revival.

“Our American Revival encompasses the shared values that make our country great; limiting the powers of the federal government to those defined in the Constitution while creating a leaner, more efficient, more effective and more accountable government to the American people,” said Governor Walker.

Our American Revival will bring together concerned citizens and elected officials from across the country who will advocate for policies that reflect the ideal that a government closest to the people can best respond to the needs and interests of the people - while protecting their freedoms and values against overreach by the federal government.

“To move this country forward we need new, fresh leadership from outside Washington,” continued Walker. “We need leaders who are bold. That’s how we build a better future for our children and grandchildren. We’ve done it in Wisconsin and it can be done across this country with the right leadership.”

“Governor Walker has demonstrated bold leadership, something that’s sorely lacking in Washington, D.C.,” Rick Wiley said. “This country needs leaders with records of accomplishment.”
