Male Announcer:  Finally someone had the guts to tell it like it is.

Ted Cruz:  “The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the mainstream media.

“This is not a cage match.

“You look at the questions: Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain? Ben Carson, can you do math? John Kasich, will you insult two people over here? Marco Rubio, why don’t you resign? Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?

“How about talking about the substantive issues people care about?”

Male Announcer:  The media can’t silence him. Washington can’t break him.

Because everyone knows exactly where he stands.

Ted Cruz:  “If I’m elected president…

“Enemies across this world will know the United States is not to be trifled with.

“We’ll kill the terrorists, we’ll repeal ObamaCare, and we will defend the Constitution – every single word of it.”

Male Announcer:  Crystal-clear vision. Strong, honest leadership. That’s what it takes to win.

Ted Cruz:  “I can’t wait to stand on that debate stage with Hillary Clinton.”

Male Announcer:  Ted Cruz for President.

Ted Cruz: I’m Ted Cruz and I approved this message.

Cruz for President Begins Running Ads in Iowa
Highlighting Cruz leading the fight for Conservative principles

HOUSTON, Texas – Cruz for President today released three ads, two TV ads Fight and “Debate” and a radio ad “Damage” that will run statewide in Iowa over the next three weeks. These spots highlight Cruz's record of consistently standing up and leading the fight for conservative principles.

Both TV spots feature Cruz’s best moments from the Republican debates. The first 30-second spot “Fight” shows Cruz in one of the debates talking about his record challenging both Democrats and Republicans in Washington and leading the fight on issues conservatives care about. The second TV spot, "Debate," is a 60-second ad where Cruztakes on the media at the Republican debate in Boulder, Colorado.  At the end of the ad he demonstrates a strong foreign policy vision declaring, “Enemies across this world will know the United States is not to be trifled with.”

The 60-second radio spot, “Damage,” features Rush Limbaugh who said on his radio show, "If you're looking for the Republican candidate who is the most steadfastly opposed to liberalism …Whose agenda is oriented toward defeating it…it's Ted Cruz.”  The ad also takes on Hillary Clinton directly as the embodiment of "the cronyism of Washington”.
