to Air in Maryland
BALTIMORE – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign on Monday released its first spot to run in Maryland.
The thirty-second ad is narrated by Erica Garner, the daughter of Eric Garner, a New York man who died after being placed in a chokehold by a police officer.
In the spot Erica Garner endorses Sen. Sanders saying, "people are dying we need a president that's going to talk about it. I believe Bernie Sanders is a protester. He's not scared to go up against the criminal justice system. He's not scared. That's why I'm for Bernie."
