New Ad:
Voters Are Roaring to Go to the Polls for
Hillary Clinton
On Saturday, Hillary for America’s newest TV ad will begin
airing in
the battlegrounds – “Roar.” The uplifting ad, set to
Katy Perry’s “Roar,” lays out many of the reasons voters have for
turning out in this election to support Hillary Clinton including
things like respect, courage, equality, fairness, higher wages, the
planet, our future and much more. Clinton will join Katy Perry on
Saturday evening for a “Love Trumps Hate” performance in
Philadelphia. Perry, one of the best-selling musical artists of all
time, endorsed Clinton last October and has since campaigned for her,
including performances at the Democratic National Convention.
The ad will run from now through election day in the
battleground
states of Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New
Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Voter turnout is already breaking records and on a path for
the
biggest voter turnout in American history – with more than 40 percent
happening before election day. From the start of early vote at the end
of September until Friday, HFA had made 45 million direct contacts
to voters – either knocks-on-doors or phone calls. For GOTV weekend
alone, there are nearly 1 million volunteers already committed.
